DIY Designer Inspired Clutch

You can create your own work of art that looks similar to high end bags on the runway!

One day I was on Pinterest scrolling through purses when I happen to stumble upon a bunch of designer handbags with gems and other embellishments and instantly wanted to have one. Sadly, I don't have $5,000 to dish out. cc
I thought to myself, "What if I could try to make my own?"
Here's the picture I used for inspiration:

What You'll Need
-Clutch (I got mine at Charming Charlie's for $12)
-Jewelry (I like to use Vintage Jewelry from garage sales. Very affordable)
-E6000 Glue Adhesive
-Beads
-Tape Measure
-Q-tips
TIP: Have Paper Towels Handy
I definitely recommend having napkins or paper towels around because sometimes the glue oozes out of the container very fast. My fingers became sticky after handling only couple pieces. Trust me, you don't want glue spots all over your purse because it's hard to get off.

Garage Sales
Most of the jewelry I used came from garage sales. The best part was they were super cheap!
Be on the look out for brooches or beads too. You can also use pieces from old necklaces you don't wear anymore or anything that is broken with a pretty charm.

Try Michael's or Hobby Lobby
The only piece I bought at a store was the white flower (centerpiece). Collecting old jewelry is super fun because it's affordable, unique and can be easily found.

Experiment
Try different layouts before you glue anything down. You may be surprised at how many options you have. I was almost tempted to fill one corner but instead decided to focus more on the center.
