Kristin Ess Rose Gold Tint Spray Review

Updated: Mar 11, 2019

If you've been curious about testing out pink hair, then the Kristin Ess Rose Gold Temporary Tint Spray is for you! I fell in love with it instantly. The best part is...it's pretty affordable and you get a good amount of product!

So you want to make sure you have light brown to platinum blonde hair for this spray to show up on your hair. Unfortunately there are a lot of sprays on the market that only work on these hair colors which makes me sad because I think everyone should be able to enjoy fun rainbow colors. We need more sprays that work on all hair colors. ASAP!

So there are 2 ways you can use this spray in terms of how vibrant you want the color.

  • Towel-Dried Hair = Intense Color

  • Wet Hair = Subtle Color

So I have platinum blonde hair and I really wanted the more intense look so I towel dried my hair really well and just sprayed it all over my head. I just went crazy with it.

I did notice that this spray does slightly make your hair a little more dry so just keep that in mind and extra condition.

Now I'm sure a lot of you are wondering, "How long is this gonna last?"

The Wear Time

I would say within a week to a week in a half I still had pink hair. The first 3 to 4 days were very vibrant but the more you shampoo you will see a very faint light touch of pink. When the color starts to fade, it looks a lot more wearable. Think of a strawberry blonde kind of a look. So if you have an office job or any other job that doesn't like crazy colors, you've love this.

If you're concerned with trying to wash out the color and get it to fade, I would just increase how many times I shampoo. You'll definitely see a much more softer look by the end of week one and then a much more faint and subtle look the week after.

Results

Overall, I'm really happy with the results and I think it's a great product that's pretty affordable at $12. Plus, you get lot of product and each application should last you definitely a week and a half to even two weeks!
